This private four-hour tour shows you the landmarks of Athens from a comfortable vehicle, without a demanding walk or an archaeological-site climb. You are collected at the Piraeus cruise pier and driven into the centre for a panoramic loop past Syntagma Square, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, University and National Library, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Arch, with up to an hour of free time around Ermou Street and Plaka. It suits guests with limited time or limited mobility, and finishes back at the pier.

Not every visitor wants a long archaeological-site visit, and on a short port call there is not always time for one. This panoramic tour covers the landmarks of Athens from your own vehicle, with brief photo stops of five to ten minutes where traffic and parking allow.
The drive takes in Constitution Square and the Parliament with the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the neoclassical trilogy of the Academy, University and National Library, the marble Panathenaic Stadium that hosted the first modern Olympic Games, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus beside Hadrian’s Arch. All of these are viewed from outside, so no entrance tickets are needed and there are no ticket queues to manage.
Depending on traffic, up to an hour is left for Ermou Street and Plaka — the old quarter below the Acropolis — for shopping, a coffee or a walk at your own pace. Guests who would rather not walk can ask for this part to be shortened or dropped.
Cruise passengers with a short call, older travellers, mixed-age families and anyone who wants an overview of Athens without a climb. Most of the sightseeing happens from the vehicle, and the walking that remains is optional.
This is a panoramic tour: it does not include a visit to the Acropolis or any other archaeological site. The person accompanying you is an English-speaking assistant who helps with practical arrangements and general orientation, not a state-licensed guide — a licensed guide is legally required for guided visits inside sites and museums, and is not part of this programme.
