Ten private hours is the fullest use of a Piraeus call: the Peloponnese and the Acropolis in one day. You stop at the Corinth Canal, then spend an hour and a half to two hours at Ancient Corinth with a licensed English-speaking guide — the Temple of Apollo, the Agora and the Bema where the Apostle Paul addressed the Corinthians in 52 AD — before returning to Athens for about two hours on the Acropolis itself. Both site entrances are included and arranged in advance. A panoramic city hour is added at the end if the day allows.

This is the whole day: the Peloponnese in the morning, the Acropolis in the afternoon, and the same licensed guide with you from the pier and back.
The cut through the isthmus is six kilometres long, twenty-four metres wide at the waterline and over fifty metres deep between sheer limestone walls. The stop is up to half an hour, from the bridge above it.
An hour and a half to two hours on the site: the Doric columns of the Temple of Apollo, the Glauke Fountain cut into rock, the Agora with the Bema where the Apostle Paul addressed the Corinthians in 52 AD, the Peirene Fountain, and the Roman fountain in the South Portico.
Back in Athens, about two hours on the rock — up through the Propylaea, past the Temple of Athena Nike, to the Erechtheion and the Parthenon, with the south-slope theatres if the schedule allows. Entrance tickets are arranged in advance, so the ticket queue is not part of your day.
If time remains after the Acropolis — which depends on the traffic to and from Corinth — the day closes with an hour past Syntagma, the Panathenaic Stadium and Hadrian’s Arch. We do not guarantee it. On a slow day it is the part that goes, and we would rather say that now than have you expect it.
Neither archaeological site suits guests with limited mobility. Ancient Corinth is an excavation with uneven ground, and the Acropolis is reached by stairs, about half of them worn marble that is slippery in the wet. The site lift needs a doctor’s report arranged in advance and can still have a queue.
The rest of the day is easier: the canal stop and the panoramic drive need no walking, and the climbs are voluntary — guests who would rather not do them can wait in a café until the group returns. Tell us when you enquire and we will plan around it.
Ten hours pier to pier. There is roughly eight hours of driving and sightseeing in it, so the margin is real. The day is built backwards from your ship’s departure, and the panoramic hour is the first thing to go if anything runs long.
